Living abroad

Since residing abroad outside the European area for longer periods of time is associated with greater risk of contracting infectious diseases that normally do not occur in Finland than short trips, blood donors need to have lived in Finland or some other EU or EFTA country or in the UK for at least three months prior to donation.
