Indonesia
If you have recently travelled in a malaria-risk area, please wait six months before donating blood after returning to Finland.
Travelling elsewhere in the country results in a 28-day donation deferral period and living in the country results in a three-month donation deferral period. Malaria occurs in some parts of the country, but there is no malaria risk, for example, in Jakarta, other megalopolises of the Java Island, the tourist destinations in Bali and Java, the large cities on the island of Borneo or on the Bintan Island (off the coast of Singapore).
